First of all, I would like to mention which AI tools I use. Which of them I can use with complete peace of mind because they are ethical and which are not.
Since I attach great importance to an ethical approach, I concentrate on AI tools such as Adobe Firefly or Exactly.ai.
What does ethical AI mean?
Ethical AI tools are platforms that work transparently and respect the copyright of the images used to train the AI.
Ethical AI tools are platforms that work transparently and respect the copyright of the images used to train the AI.
An Example:
I generated the following two images with exactly.ai. Based on a ‘mouse’ drawing and generated with my own AI model which I trained with my photographs.
It definitely shows my own drawing and photography style as well as the typical character of my work and not the eternally identical protagonists that the AI always likes to generate.

Made with exactly.ai and own AI model
The unusual, almost unnatural shape of the head is based on my hand drawing with the mouse. This enabled me to generate realistic photos of faces in my own style.
I trained the AI model I used at exactly.ai and use it for photorealistic AI images. My own AI models are perfect when I train them with illustrations in my own style.
The third and not unimportant ingredient for an image is the prompt.

On the left side it is my AI Model that goes public and now you can use it for your artwork.

I don't want to judge anyone here, but of the following AI tools I couldn't find out what they were trained with. So I don't know if I might be violating copyrights by using them.
Nevertheless, I have used the following AI tools before or regularly.

FLUX

TAMARIN

VISICANVAS

VISUAL ELECTRIC

Adobe Firefly

Dall-e
Pictures above are all generate with MiraMuse.ai with same prompt and different AI Models. From left to right: FLUX, Tamarin, VisiCanvas, Visual Electric, Adobe Firefly and Dall-e.
