Fantastic Plastic Upcycling Fashion Project
When I started my journey with artificial intelligence, I discovered Scribble Diffusion - an online software that generates images based on a digital scribble combined with a prompt (a text-based prompt for artificial intelligence). I used it as a creative input for the fashion industry.
My first project was called 'Headgear'. Inspired by the fantastic hats of Philip Treacy - an exceptional fashion designer and artist whom I admire and who is one of my idols. Admittedly, with Scribble Diffusion I had more opportunity to create my own style as it was based on a drawing of mine. This series was created using Visual Electric and is based purely on text and fashion photography of the model.

When I first heard about upcycling, I immediately knew what it was all about. Creating something from existing materials that is more valuable than the original material. For example, haute couture accessories made from plastic waste. I immediately fell in love with upcycling because it's a completely new kind of design process. I don't have to think about what materials to use once I have the idea and the concept. With upcycling it all starts with the material I have - what can I do with it, how can I use it and so on.
